At aperitif time and before lunch, at “A Locanda tù Marchese” we organize tastings based on local products and ancient recipes of the Salento tradition.
On the evenings scheduled by the calendar, the representative or owner of a local products company joins us and will guide the tasting and description of the product that is the protagonist of the evening.
Not only tastings but also practical demonstrations: from the evening dedicated to Tarallo, cheeses and mozzarella, wine, rustico leccese (disc of puff pastry stuffed with mozzarella, bechamel and tomato), pasticciotto (fragrant shortcrust pastry, filled with custard, in its original version) focaccia and local bread, mustazzoli and cupeta, anciuleddhi and much more between sweet and savoury.
