A renovated ancient historical residence in southern Salento houses our B&B “A Locanda Tù Marchese, in the picturesque old town of Matino.
Stories and nursery rhymes from the village narrate that the Palazzo was the second house of the Marquis Del Tufo, the nobleman of the town.
A careful, scrupulous and caring restoration work gave a new life to the various areas of “A Locanda tù Marchese”, where nothing has been distorted and where every existing area is now functional as it used to be in the past, in order for our guests to enjoy them to the fullest today.
Inside our historic residence “A Locanda Tù Marchese”, a B&B near Gallipoli, you can find 6 different rooms, Superior and Suite, each one of them including the access to the underground Jacuzzi in the hypogeum, rigorously reserved for our guests.

At “A Locanda tù Marchese” breakfast is the main moment for guests to immerse themselves in scents and traditions.
You will have breakfast on our terrace.
Luisa cooks breakfast by hand. Naturally, salentinian patisserie is the main character: between all the delicacies offered, there stand the Pasticciotto, Fruttone, Mustazzoli and the rustic Pastarelle, along with fresh fruit or fruit in syrup, hot drinks, fruit juices, rusks, butter, cereal, various types of jam, locally-made honey, yogurt, as well as bread, eggs, cheese and cold cuts.
